Two days ago, we published the full list of 184 newsrooms drawing taxpayer wage subsidies from Labor's $67.6 million Journalism Assistance Fund. We honestly didn't think anyone would pick it up.

Last night Andrew Bolt put the numbers to a national audience on Sky News. Our table didn't get a credit, but that's fine by us. We're just happy the story is out there.

The rules are worth knowing. Funded newsrooms never have to tell readers they're subsidised, and if one does, the guidelines hand it government approved wording. Grants went out in order of application with no merit ranking, and foreign controlled outlets like Sky News and the News Corp papers couldn't apply.

One Nation senator Hollie Hughes and former Labor MP Michael Danby didn't hold back on Bolt's panel. Hughes reckons the recipients aren't even journalists anymore.

Italy's Prime Minister deported an imam after he defended the marriage of nine-year-old girls on national television.

Reform UK's London mayoral candidate Laila Cunningham says Britain should take an equally tough approach, arguing that anyone who advocates child marriage is a paedophile.

She also says if Pakistan refuses to take back convicted grooming gang offenders, Britain should stop accepting new arrivals until it does.
