If the Cyber Crime Department of Manipur Police fails to take action against this channel for allegedly instigating hatred and violence through false claims that Kangpokpi, Noney, Kamjong, and Tamenglong belong exclusively to the Kacha Nagas, The Kuki-Zo people will view past and future attacks as being well-coordinated between the Manipur Government and the Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM.
Silence in the face of public calls for violence only deepens mistrust. Action must be taken against anyone who incites hatred, regardless of who they are.

🏔️ What happened today in Phaimol, Indo-Burma Border
In the early hours of 1 July 2026, militants carried out a vicious cross-border arson attack on Phaimol village in Kamjong District. This historic Kuki village — part of our traditional homeland — was systematically targeted. All 20 residential houses were burnt to the ground, reducing the entire settlement to ashes.
The attackers were a combined force of NSCN, Meitei Valley-Based Insurgent Groups (VBIGs), and the Shanni Nationalities Army (SNA), who crossed the international border from Myanmar into India. The attack came just one day after the Assam Rifles vacated its security post at Phaimol, leaving our people completely unprotected.
Phaimol still stands as our village. No amount of burning and displacement will erase our rightful claim to our ancestral land.
This incident is part of a continuing and deliberate pattern of attacks on Kuki villages across Kamjong, Ukhrul, and Kangpokpi districts in 2026. The involvement of Myanmar-based armed groups highlights the serious cross-border security failure along the India-Myanmar border.
Our families have lost everything overnight — homes, belongings, and safety. Yet our connection to Phaimol remains unbroken.
We demand immediate justice, security restoration, and the right to return to our village. The people of Phaimol will not be erased. We stand strong with our village. The world must see what is happening to Kuki communities in the hills.

Another kuki village in Kamjong dist. was burnt down today by Manipur Nagas'.
Why Central & State security forces are no where to be seen whenever #Nagas' block NH / burnt villages, is this a power play of a Naga Dy. CM #Dikho or BJP's partner NPF.
Where in the world you called yourself a Christian? meanwhile you called yourself the so called peace loving Kacha-Naga community but you put yourself into an ash ,Liars all the combat dresses are the unified members of the Tangkhul Millitants. #Narco Terrorists Tangkhuls
PRESS RELEASE
Dated: 2nd March 2026
We, the Kuki Human Rights Council (KHRC), strongly condemn and reject the repeated incursions by Manipur Naga community Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Losi Dikho, into Kuki areas, aimed at undermining the legitimate aspirations of the Kuki people. His visits are a blatant attempt to divide and rule among Kuki sub-tribes.
We warn him to desist from entering Kuki areas forthwith until the Kuki people achieve their rightful separate administration.
Mr. Losi, we remind you that your mandate is to represent the Manipur Naga community, and to work in the interests of your own community, not the Kuki people.
Your actions are a provocation, and we condemn them in the strongest terms. The Kuki people have long been subjected to divisive forces, and we will not allow anyone to undermine our unity and struggle for self-determination. Every community has a right to its territorial integrity and boundaries, and we will not compromise on this principle.
We, the KHRC, demand that Mr. Losi respect the Kuki people's wishes and refrain from entering Kuki areas until our demand for separate administration is met. We call upon the Government of India to take cognizance of Mr. Losi's actions and take necessary action to prevent further escalation.
The Kuki people will not be intimidated or divided.
We will continue to fight for our rights, and we will not rest until we achieve our goal of separate administration.

Has the conscience of the Indian nation forgotten the atrocities committed during the Manipur violence? The brutal acts carried out by @ArambaiTen96606#MeiteiLeepun, Manipur Meitei militants, alleged Myanmar-based militants, and elements of the @manipur_police against the minority #KukiCommunity remain deeply etched in our collective memory. These acts include torture, sexual violence, public humiliation through forced naked parades, burning people alive, and the merciless destruction of homes, churches, and schools.
The #KukiCommunity deserves humanity, dignity, and equal protection as citizens of India. Instead of apprehending and prosecuting the real perpetrators, agencies such as the @NIA_India and @CBIHeadquarters are perceived to be selectively targeting innocent Kuki civilians who have committed no crime, while the main culprits continue to roam freely.
The Kuki community is profoundly disappointed with the @BJP4India-led government, which appears to be extending blind support to the majority Meitei community. Armed groups responsible for grave human rights violations are seen moving openly with sophisticated weapons, allegedly under political and institutional protection, while justice remains denied to the victims.
Numerous innocent Kuki civilians have lost their lives. Entire villages have been destroyed. Sacred places, schools, and homes have been reduced to ashes. Yet, accountability remains absent, and justice seems reserved only for the powerful majority.
The #KukiCommunity firmly demands justice, accountability, and equal treatment under the Constitution of India. Until the perpetrators of these heinous crimes are brought to justice and the rights and dignity of the Kuki people are restored, this silence and selective action will remain a stain on India’s democratic and humanitarian values.

Thokchom Romen Meitei, commander of Meitei terrorists, arrested yesterday near #Imphal. His arrest triggered the ambush on #AssamRifles that killed 2 and injured 5 jawans. Yet today, he was shamelessly released by the state police under terrorist pressure.

The people hoped Hon’ble PM is coming to hear us. But not even 10 minutes, to listen to our woes, not even from party MLAs. Wastage of public resources for optics? I’ll meet and greet him when he has time to listen to the woes and aspirations of my people. @the_hindu@PMOIndia
Manipur: Kuki-Zo Women’s Forum Delhi appeals to PM @narendramodi ahead of his Sept 13 visit to Kuki-Zo Land:
1️⃣ Separate Administration
2️⃣ Accountability for genocide
3️⃣ Rehabilitation of displaced
4️⃣ Dismantling Meitei extremist groups
@HMOIndia@PMOIndia@NENowNews@UN
Dear Hon'ble Governor Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla @BhallaAjay26,
It has come to our notice that some Meitei personnel accompanied you during your recent visit to Kuki-Zo Land. The footage serves as proof and evidence, taken by Meitei individuals themselves yesterday, September 9, 2025, during your visit to Lamka/Songpi.
Sir, until an amicable solution is reached, no Meitei should cross the buffer zone, and vice versa. If people become aware of Meitei presence among your staff, another unnecessary escalation could happen anytime. This is my humble appeal to you.
@RajBhavManipur @the_hindu@IndiaTodayNE@NELiveTV
The situation in Manipur involves significant tensions between the Meitei and Kuki communities. Ahead of Prime Minister @narendramodi's visit to Manipur, Patricia Mukhim emphasizes that there's no peace without justice. The #KukiCommunity is seeking a separate administration like a #UnionTerritory (Kukiland) due to perceived aggression and encroachment by groups associated with the #MeiteiCommunity.
The Kuki Community views the Meitei Community's actions as aggressive, citing help from groups like @ArambaiTen96606 and @manipur_police. They want to restrict movement in Kuki-dominated areas until a separate administration (Kukiland) is established. There are allegations involving groups like #ManipurMeiteiMilitants, @ArambaiTen96606, and others allegedly aiding #MyanmarMeiteiMilitants through the border. The #KukiCommunity's stance is part of a broader context of competing claims over land, security, and administrative rights in the region.
The demand for #Kukiland reflects the #KukiCommunity's desire for autonomy and security in the face of these tensions. The situation highlights complexities in ethnic relations and territorial claims in Manipur, with both communities having distinct identities and claims to land and autonomy. The #KukiCommunity's push for a separate administration underscores their concerns about security and governance in their ancestral lands.
The context of ethnic tensions in Manipur is multifaceted, involving historical grievances, territorial disputes, and security concerns. The #KukiCommunity's opposition to perceived encroachment by the #MeiteiCommunity and their demand for a #UnionTerritory like administration (Kukiland) are central to the current dynamics. The situation remains sensitive, with implications for peace, stability, and inter-community relations in Manipur.

Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi will be the first Prime Minister in Indian history to visit Kuki-Zo Land after 28 months of Meitei genocide against Kuki-Zo community under the leadership of former CM @NBirenSingh and MP @MaharajaManipur. This is my humble appeal to the Hon'ble PM to deliver justice and declare a Separate Administration in the form of Union Territory with a Legislature during his visit on September 13th, 2025, at Peace Ground.

Manipur:So only Meiteis have the right to rename places? No wonder tribals, especially Kukis, don’t want to live under this oppressive majority. Here’s yet another example of Meiteis renaming Kuki places in Imphal. Truly, clowns 🤡 with zero shame. Shameless Meitei hippo 🦛 skins
From relief camp to NEET success. Nemneilhing Haokip from Churachandpur, Manipur — an internally displaced girl who cracked NEET and is now set to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. A true story of resilience and hope.

Hon'ble @Bimol_Akoijam Ji, an allocation of Rs 500 crores may suffice for Meitei internally displaced persons who previously occupied lands in Kuki-Zo Tribal Areas as illegal settlers, providing compensation for the properties and livelihood they lost. However, for the persecuted Kuki-Zo community, no monetary compensation can redress the trauma inflicted upon multiple generations, including the dissemination of false propaganda by the Manipur Government and Meitei elites regarding their history and culture, the public humiliation of their women through naked parades by groups of Meitei individuals, and the mass rapes and murders of young women in Manipur's capital. Solely the establishment of a separate state or Union Territory with legislative powers can adequately address the losses and hardships endured by the Kuki-Zo community, enabling them to rebuild their lives and preserve intergenerational memories.
