@twpiggott Cancelling this funding is like telling a Type-2 diabetic to "take charge of their disease" and then wrestling their glucose monitor away from them
@aprildunford @impostorphyllis I think the question of how "charm" is defined is a good one. By narrowing the definition we might be closer to a solution. It's like saying "I need you to be more loving" - that could look like a foot massage or buying me a slice when you get one ๐ (I'll take both)
@aprildunford @impostorphyllis Introverted analytical types who are drawn to tech frequently feel anxious with spontaneous small talk/volunteering info about themselves. The mRNA vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna) are kind of brilliant at a science level. Iโve had a few people in my real non-Twitter life ask me to explain how it works so Iโm going to try my best here in this thread while Iโm waiting for a patient to show.
This yearโs Toronto International Film Festival โ which is going forward with in-person screenings along with virtual ones โ will allow attendees to โremove their masks once they are sitting in their assigned in-cinema seats" https://t.co/dBMFWHs7bG
