इंडियन एक्सप्रेस का शर्मनाक यू-टर्न!

एजेंडा चलाने वाले अखबार 'द इंडियन एक्सप्रेस' ने, जिसने 22 सितंबर के अपने संस्करण में चुनाव आयोग की कार्यप्रणाली पर विवाद खड़ा करके ज्ञानेश कुमार को बदनाम करने की कोशिश की थी, मात्र चार दिनों के भीतर एक शर्मनाक यू-टर्न ले लिया है।

आज—यानी 26 सितंबर, 2026—के संस्करण में एक्सप्रेस ने अपने 'एक्सप्लेन्ड' सेक्शन में एक लेख प्रकाशित किया है जिसमें संकेत दिया गया है कि पहले जो कुछ कहा गया था वह गलत था और एक त्रुटिपूर्ण निष्कर्ष की ओर ले गया।

यह लेख दामिनी नाथ ने लिखा है, जो नियमित रूप से चुनाव आयोग को कवर करने वाली रिपोर्टर हैं।

'एक्सप्रेस' का स्पष्टीकरण

इस लेख में, दामिनी नाथ ने कहा कि 'जब से दो अतिरिक्त आयुक्तों को शामिल किया गया है—यानी 1993 से—तीनों आयुक्तों के बीच लगातार मतभेद उत्पन्न होते रहे हैं। हालांकि, चर्चा के माध्यम से मामलों को सुलझाना और सर्वसम्मति से प्रस्ताव पारित करना हर बार अपनाई जाने वाली मानक प्रक्रिया रही है।' उन्होंने यह दिखाने के लिए शेषन, गोपालस्वामी, लवासा और अन्य लोगों जैसे उदाहरण भी दिए कि ये मतभेद कभी-कभी सार्वजनिक हो गए थे।

उनके अनुसार, एसआईआर से संबंधित सभी प्रस्तावों को तीनों आयुक्तों के हस्ताक्षर के साथ सर्वसम्मति से मंजूरी दी गई थी। इसलिए, इस मामले पर अब विवाद का कोई कारण नहीं है।

एक तरह से, यह राहुल गांधी जैसे सतही, अज्ञानी नेताओं के लिए एक करारा तमाचा है।

यहां यह भी ध्यान देने योग्य है कि 22-09-2026 को आयोग पर कीचड़ उछालने वाला लेख लिखने वाली रितिका चोपड़ा ने इससे पहले कभी भी आयोग की खबरें कवर नहीं की थीं।

इससे साफ पता चलता है कि द इंडियन एक्सप्रेस ने जानबूझकर पहले यह एजेंडा-प्रेरित लेख प्रकाशित किया और बाद में प्रतिक्रिया से खुद को बचाने के लिए आज का यह स्पष्टीकरण छापा।

क्या सीईसी को गाली देने वाले सभी लंपट तत्व अब माफी मांगेंगे?

इन राष्ट्रविरोधी तत्वों और इस दो कौड़ी के, उपद्रव-भर की कीमत वाले अखबार के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई क्यों न शुरू की जाए?

Yesterday, I was at Jantar Mantar to file a report for my company.

A feminist protest was going on, with girls raising catchy slogans. The protest had girls from various groups, including the Left and NSUI.

The most promising slogan was: “Sharam nahi hai mardo mein, aurat kyun hai pardo mein?”

I found a girl from SFI and asked her, “Do you think the slogan ‘Sharam nahi hai mardo mein, aurat kyun hai pardo mein?’ is right?”

Leftist girl: Of course! Why should women remain in purdah because of men?

Me: Are you sure?

Leftist: Yes! No doubt!

I then turned to a hijabi girl nearby and asked her, “Why are you wearing a hijab? Is it because of your religion, or are you being forced by your family?”

Hijabi girl: It’s my choice!

I asked the Leftist girl, “What do you say to this?”

Leftist girl: It’s her choice. She can wear anything, whether it’s a hijab or a burqa. Who are you to decide? You shouldn’t interfere in her religious beliefs.

That’s when I understood their hypocrisy and left the protest.

पहले तो फ़र्ज़ी फैलाया कि 8.5 CGPA है, बहुत बढ़िया ब्रिलियंट स्टूडेंट था। नहीं चला। कोई ले आया कि नहीं भाई, 6.3 टाइप का CGPA था, which is not good.

उसके बाद चलाया गया कि प्रताड़ित करते थे, तीन महीने से प्रताड़ना हो रही थी। पूछा गया कि भाई, तीन महीने से ये बात थी, और तुम अवेयर भी हो कि SC/ST सेल है, लॉ है, सारा कुछ है। उसके माँ-बाप को भी पता था। वो माँ-बाप जो अभी पेड़ के नीचे बैठकर धरना-प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं, उन्होंने क्यों नहीं किसी को रिपोर्ट किया? लिखित में, मौखिक में, कोई रिकॉर्ड तो होना चाहिए। वो भी नहीं चला।

फिर आ गया CCTV फुटेज। CCTV फुटेज में स्पष्ट रूप से दिख रहा है कि क्या हो रहा है। तो लगे कहने, नहीं-नहीं, वो तो कैलकुलेटर है। कैलकुलेटर तो सबके आगे रखा हुआ था। और उसका फोन, जिससे वो कर रहा था, एविडेंस के तौर पर सीज़ कर लिया गया।

अब बोला जा रहा है कि CCTV फुटेज का केवल एक छोटा सा पोर्शन ही मीडिया को क्यों रिलीज़ किया गया। ये मेरी समझ से बाहर है। क्या पूरा एग्जाम दिखाया जाए? भाई, जब वो एक्ट हुआ है, उतना ही तो आएगा ना, उतना ही तो दिखाया जाएगा। भाई, चोरी कर रहा था, पकड़ा गया।
