There is a HUGE opportunity for B2B companies to dominate using Digital PR right now.
30% of our clients are now in B2B & SaaS. It's a different world but you make a big impact by using the below framework.
๐ฅ ๐จ Approach campaigns with your audience interests first and not your product functionality first.
It's B2B but you are still talking to people.
๐ฐ Take this a step further and analyse the press and sites you want to get on.
When was the last time they talked directly about what you sell? When was the last time they talked about it and it wasn't a paid for feature? What do they talk about and where is the overlap with what you do and what your audience is interested in.
If you want to talk about your product that's an ad.
You can earn coverage in the same press your competitors are paying to feature in by creating stories.
โ Remove as much red tape as you can.
B2B environments aren't always set up to be fast or reactive. There's a huge opportunity to be getting your brand out there whilst your competitors are still discussing whether or not to actually comment on it.
โฐ Link it all back up.
In B2B the end goal comes down to leads. That lead time might be 3 months, 6 months or longer. We use tools to track which companies are engaging with our PR campaigns on site. We then re-purpose these campaigns as sales enablement tools for our clients so their sales team can use them engage with warm or lapsed leads.
The best in B2B PR are doing things like this whilst the others are reporting on AVE still.
