Idempotency
A POST request creates a post, but the server crashes before responding.
The user retries with the same key.
Without proper handling, we might create a duplicate post.
With idempotency, we can return the original response instead.

In this AI coding world, knowing a tech stack isn’t enough.
You need to understand how scalable systems actually work.
Race conditions, idempotency, indexes, transactions, rate limiting and more.
Just watched @kirat_tw video and honestly, it made me a little worried as a fresher.
If coding is becoming more about giving instructions and less about writing code, what should we actually focus on?
What projects should we build? What should we learn?
Would love some advice
Built a video calling app. Built an online IDE. Spent countless hours on WebRTC, SFU, Kafka, Docker, AWS, CI/CD and everything in between. 100+ applications later, barely hearing back. It gets frustrating when all that effort feels invisible. Maybe that’s the part nobody sees.
Joined a 6-month internship as a Full Stack Developer, but left after 4 months.
Asked HR about the post-internship salary, and their tone changed. Felt like a PPO wasn’t coming, so I decided to leave.
Now focusing on backend, system design, and interviews.
built an excalidraw clone

→ turborepo setup
→ frontend mostly AI-generated
→ realtime drawing working
next: rate limiting, caching, scaling
trying to make it production ready
learning a lot from @kirat_tw@100xDevs#buildinpublic#webdev
