@TheRPGDummy I 100%ed Yumia, it was great fun, but I feel like the balancing was abysmal. Being able to freely dupe the strongest ingredients, both found and crafted was way too strong. It wasn't even halfway through the second zone when I became OP, even on the hardest difficulty.

@InTheFranXX I will always recommend any of the Mysterious trilogy to start (Atelier Sophie, Firis, and Lydie & Suelle.) Ryza games are the most popular, but Ryza 1 was terrible imo. 2 and 3 were amazing though. Either of those series are good starting points.

@rebbford I always liked the idea of Conclave as the enemy factions. We had a sample of playing as the other factions with The New War. Would mean you don't have to balance around frames and weapons. But, thats probs not what the conclave enjoyers are after.

@samieweiss @monsterhunter Actually, we might not need to. I wouldn't be surprised if Gasoline Mizu makes it in as an official Monstie. It's a Rare Species, like Molten Tigrex and the Metal Raths. You'll probably unlock it by releasing enough Mizus in maybe the fire locale.

@HurricanePL2 Uhh, I hate to break it to you, but BG3 did not release fully finished. It was in early access for several years before 1.0, it had less than a third of the game when it technically released. The final product was in fact just the EA release, but updated.

@LaytonsLehring @Primal6587 Could also just be a thing for the Demo they had. But, it is also entirely possible that the HP Bars will always be visible now. I personally wouldn't want that, but it certainly isn't gonna make or break the game for me.

@JDevaron99149 Speculatively, it refers to the Monsters affected by the encroachment. It likely forces monsters out of their habitats, and those suffering from the crystallization effect are likely driven mad. Thus, the Kingdoms deem them Feral. Aggressive and invasive.

@monsterhunter 3 Days before my Birthday, potentially 2 days depending on timezones and release time. Gonna treat myself with some Stories 3. 100% finished Stories 2, and currently working on Stories 1 post-game grind. Love these games, and I am beyond hyped for 3.

@LaytonsLehring The Stories games always had a health bar. You can't actually see it decrease or update until you beat the monster the first time. Otherwise, it is just greyed out.

@puuhs No, not at all. Stories games so far have been standalone narrative experiences, with only references to the previous game and recurring characters. I would at least still recommend playing 2 in the lead up to familiarise yourself with the mechanics. It's an amazing game.

@monsterhunter God, this was so stressful. I was about to step away and take abreak tonigth from trying and take a break before I got this time. I HATE speedrunning, but the pendant is so freaking good. My best before this was like 4'32... Shaved almost 40 seconds off somehow.
