🔴🇧🇪Brussels-Zaventem Airport was completely closed this Tuesday due to the presence of three drones near the terminal shortly before 8:00 p.m. local time (19:00 GMT), according to the local newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws. In recent weeks, several drones have been spotted near sensitive infrastructure, the most recent being last weekend near the Kleine-Brogel military airbase, close to the border with the Netherlands.

🤭Belgian authorities are preparing an accelerated response plan to these incursions, and in the meantime, the military has been ordered to shoot down the drones if it can be done safely and “without causing collateral damage.” Without presenting evidence, Belgian authorities pointed the finger at Moscow.
