The immortal jellyfish (Turritopsis dohrnii) is the only known creature on Earth capable of reversing its aging process indefinitely, effectively bypassing natural death from old age!

​When faced with starvation, physical damage, or extreme environmental stress, this tiny jellyfish, no bigger than a pinky fingernail, doesn't die. Instead, it sinks to the ocean floor, absorbs its own tentacles, and transforms back into a cyst-like blob.

Over a few days, this blob regenerates into a polyp colony, which then releases genetically identical cloned jellyfish to start the entire lifecycle over again. Let me explain 👇🏾👇🏾
