He called for leveraging the complementary strengths of ICAR and ICRISAT to address bigger challenges and drive greater impact in the years ahead.

At #DrylandCongress 2026, Day 3—marking the UN Day for South-South Cooperation—representatives from across the Global South came together to form a powerful human chain of cooperation.

The moment symbolised solidarity, shared learning and a collective commitment to scaling innovations. Key organisations and initiatives, including ICRISAT’s ISSCA, @icarindia @CGIAR, @RIS_NewDelhi CapSHA and @NABARDOnline, reaffirmed their commitment to advancing triangular cooperation and driving greater impact across the Global South.

ITC's Agri Business received the first award at the FICCI Sustainable Agriculture Awards 2023 for Natural Resource Management and Climate Resilient Agriculture. The award ceremony was held at New Delhi on November 30.

The award is an acknowledgement of ITC's continuous engagement with #farmers for the promotion of regenerative and climate resilient agriculture and natural resource management across multiple crop #valuechains. These initiatives have helped build #climateadaptation capacities of farmers, and brought about improvement in crop productivity and farmer #incomes.
