Today, Assam marks Silpi Diwas, in homage of Rupkonwar Jyoti Prasad Agarwala. He was a cultural stalwart of Assam, whose works have left a lasting impression on the minds of the Assamese people. His life has inspired countless people to excel in theatre, films, music and other cultural pursuits.
