Perhaps the most scandalous and underreported aspect of the Talarico story is that his rise to national prominence was aided by the "Republican" leadership of the Texas House.

Talarico helped elect Dustin Burrows as Speaker of the House in 2025.

And, years after Talarico pushed legislation to FORCE PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO TEACH DEI and HIRE DEI OFFICERS... Burrows rewarded Talarico by appointing him to FOUR committees/sub-committees (more than many House Republicans get put on), and...

Burrows put Talarico in House leadership by giving him TWO VICE CHAIRMANSHIPS...

Including making Talarico VICE-CHAIR of the powerful subcommittee on ACADEMIC & CAREER-ORIENTED EDUCATION.

These betrayals gave Talarico a platform that helped lead him to the Democrat nomination for the U.S. Senate.

Austin Republicans need to wake up, and start fighting Democrats... not empowering them.
