@shome_u @USConsMilan right.. And this is with a J1 visa, which is part of the list of visas that are right away eligible for NIE..

@USConsMilan now takes 90 business days (!!) to process National Interest Exception requests. And you can only apply when outside the USA. This is insane and really a disincentive to remain in the USA. Who gets 5 months of vacation?? @shome_u
