So let's see the actual “left-wing indoctrination”.

Not anecdotes. Not “my daughter said”. Not “rainbow stuff makes me uncomfortable”.

Show us the curriculum material.

If a teacher actually stood in front of students and told them “One Nation is bad, vote Labor”, I'll condemn it right alongside you. Teachers aren't supposed to engage in partisan political advocacy in Victorian government schools. The rules already prohibit it.

But teaching kids that gay people exist isn't left-wing indoctrination.

Teaching that trans people exist isn't left-wing indoctrination.

Teaching Aboriginal history isn't left-wing indoctrination.

Teaching climate science isn't left-wing indoctrination.

Teaching children not to bully the gay kid isn't fucking Marxism.

And teaching students about political issues from competing perspectives isn't indoctrination either. That's called education. The entire bloody point is teaching kids enough to examine ideas critically and make up their own minds.

Here's the really revealing part: One Nation says it would remove curriculum obligations to promote “leftist woke propaganda.”

Great. Define it.

Which exact curriculum requirements are you removing?

Because if “indoctrination” means teachers pushing political parties, it's already prohibited.

If it means teaching children facts and ideas that One Nation happens to dislike, then you're not proposing to remove political ideology from classrooms.

You're proposing to replace ideology you don't like with ideology you do.

And congratulations, you absolute donuts. There's a word for deliberately shaping children's education so they adopt your preferred political worldview.

Indoctrination.
