@CooperMwicks@JakeSucky No, there's lots of games being developed with male protagonists.
In fact, the majority of games still have male protagonists, despite 50% of humans being female.
@enchantedflms A breadcake here in Sheffield. But 10 minutes away in Barnsley they call them a tea cake.
Shops here in Sheffield sell breadcakes baked in Barnsley as tea cakes, usually on the same fucking shelf as actual fruit tea cakes.
@Jinsakuu I feel bad for Lewis Tan, but creating create a new character for him to play was stupid.
Cole Young should've been Kuai Liang.
Watching the first movie, I honestly thought they were gonna reveal that Cole was Kuai and that Lewis would take up the Sub Zero mantle.
@criticalhitsTV@HardcoreCook37@Imn0tDaredevil I'll say this; I've watched some recent gameplay footage of the new James Bond game and it did absolutely nothing for me; I actually thought the melee combat looked that fucking awful I now have no intention of buying it at launch.
I hope it's good, though.
@criticalhitsTV@HardcoreCook37@Imn0tDaredevil There's nothing wrong with thinking something looks bad. With it not looking like something you're gonna enjoy.
But actually hoping that thing is going to be bad is fucking stupid.
Move past it. Don't give it your energy or time.
@criticalhitsTV@HardcoreCook37@Imn0tDaredevil Actively wanting something to be bad is such a waste of time though.
There's a particular big comic book movie coming out soon that seems to doing stuff with characters that mean a lot to me that I do not agree with at all.
But I'm not hoping it's going to bad.
@criticalhitsTV@Imn0tDaredevil He says hoping something is bad is weird behaviour, because it is.
In no way does he say everything should be praised.
If the game's a bag of shit, it should not be praised. But why the fuck would anybody WANT any piece of entertainment to be a bag of shit?
@criticalhitsTV@Imn0tDaredevil How and why in the flying fuck could you convince yourself their "argument" means everything should be praised?
He's literally saying - right there in his comment - that hoping something is bad is weird behaviour.
And it is weird behaviour.
@PstafarianPrice Looks like any city in the UK.
Spice (synthetic cannibis) does this to you; it's a good way to get through the day when you've got no crack or heroin.
I had a guy outside my bar stood like this for 6 hours once.
