M1 - The Crab Nebula
This is a star that went supernova back in 1054 AD and was recorded by civilizations around the world. It was bright enough to be seen during the day after the explosion.

Staring into our home galaxy, the Milky Way.
The thousands of stars I captured are packed into a frame slightly larger than the full moon. The darker area in the upper left is not an absence of stars, but rather a cloud of gas in space.
@DaydreamAstro M13 from my first night ever imaging. My processing has gotten much better since then so I could easily rework it if interested in this framing.
