A note: I am an American Jew. I am the grandchild of Holocaust survivors. My husband is Israeli.
My rejection of the ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians comes directly from my history, my Jewishness, my love for my husband and his family.

An axe, a guillotine, a willing tribunal? For our Regicide issue, we’re looking for writing that goes beyond “off with his head!” Send us your popular uprisings, your poetic justice, your revolutionary futures, and your most damning allegations.
Free Mahmoud Khalil. This is straight out of the fascist playbook. Criminalizing dissent is an assault on our First Amendment and freedom of speech. Revoking someone’s green card for expressing their political opinion is illegal. Protesting genocide is not a crime.
Every single Jew who supports deporting green card holders for political support is a fucking Shanda who has forgotten our history. This will always come for us

October 7th was a tragedy, a war crime, a horrific day for Israel & Israelis.
Everything that's happened since has been a tragedy, a series of war crimes, & horrific weeks & months, for Gaza, the West Bank, & now for Lebanon.
Civilians should be off-limits. Always. Everywhere.
All I have today is pain for the Israelis killed on 10/7, the hostages held for the past year, the terror unleashed on this day for Gaza, the generational trauma of Jews & Palestinians, the conditions that led to refugees in 1945 and the 75 yrs of occupation for Palestinians
This whole industry is built on a foundation of grift. It’s pay to play. I’ve seen $35 submission fees for contests, & some publications won’t even take the time to reject you. But you’re coming after a small mag whose editor pays contributors out of their pocket? Be so for real
