The US$141 Million project, Semwa dam is being constructed along Ruya River in Mash Central. The dam is set to have a capacity of sustaining about 12000 ha of irrigation land & expected to bring an end to perennial drought challenges that are experienced in Rushinga

MHONDORO NGEZI
The Hon Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Hon Marian Chombo officially handed over Gweshe clinic to Mhondoro-Ngezi Rural District Council. The clinic was rehabilitated by Zimplats. It offers modern staff accommodation, medical equipment, running water, and electricity, which is powered by a solar plant.

The 20MW Harava Solar Power Station is under construction in Boni Village, Seke District, Mash East Province

Now 70% complete & expected to start feeding into the national grid.
