Canadians,
I know you're angry. I'm angry too. It feels like the walls are closing in on us and we're scrambling to preserve what we can.
We're in our 11th year of the Trudeau/Carney Liberal nightmare. Half of our population didn't want this, and now we're watching our country sink into the "new world order" that threatens to swallow free societies across the western hemisphere.
Mark Carney is giving the communists (China) unfettered access to our industries, our economy and our lives. To make matters worse, the Liberals are pushing a sweeping surveillance bill (C-22) through parliament that will give the federal government, and by extension the CCP, instant access to our privacy.
Many of us are clinging to a hope that the United States will step in at some point to stop it. Trump, despite all his faults, is now Canada's only feasible exit strategy from this nightmare with his 51st State proposition. Alberta has recognized where this is all heading and has begun the process of separation, but Danielle Smith and the federal Liberals are determined to stop that from happening.
It's all so depressing. This country has never felt so claustrophobic for those who are aware of our tailspin.
This has prompted a reactionary behavior pattern where everything is an expression of the authoritarianism we see encroaching on our lives from every angle, and because of it, every minor conflict feels like a symptom of that growing authoritarianism.
But we have to choose our battles carefully. When we react to every little agitation, we miss the larger picture. There are people invested in creating confusion for the sake of distraction from what is actually taking shape around us. We have to stay focused on what matters, and what matters is saving this place we call home—wherever it is and however you define it.
Do your due diligence. Put the issues in context. Ignore the narratives. Discard what doesn't matter. Credibility is key. If we scream fire every time we see smoke, nobody is going to listen when we're finally burning.
Be wise.
@FColumno The absolute mental midgets they polled (nearly dead boomer cohort) don’t care about Canada, all they care about is their property value and their government benefits. The most entitled generation of all time.
🚨 MAJOR BREAKING: Trump just signed an executive order that will functionally wall off the Canadian export economy from the United States.
Every Canadian company shipping to the US now must:
-Post much higher per shipment bonds
-Be CTPAT validated by US customs
-Disclose beneficial ownership & domestic assets
-Provide foreign tax IDs & detailed supply chain data
-Lose access to “informal entry” for low value shipments entirely
The reason?
Foreign importers can’t be trusted to comply with US law.
The trigger?
Canada’s documented failure to enforce its own forced labour ban.
80% of our exports go south.
The Prime Minster yesterday said “we expected this”
Canadians who export to the US sure as hell didn’t.

This is what the ‘51st State’ could actually mean, without calling it that. There are a decent number of Canadians who’d happily join an economic union with the United States — and they’re right. 🇨🇦🇺🇸
Canada is a resource-rich nation governed by incompetent socialists who’ve turned our dollar into a joke.
We need to think bigger.
What would it actually look like?
1. One North American passport. Live, work, and travel freely between the two countries. No more border nonsense for actual citizens.
2. Ditch the pathetic Canadian dollar for the USD. End the currency weakness, inflation games, and ‘Trudeau peso’ embarrassment.
3. Total free trade. Zero tariffs. Integrated supply chains. North America becomes an economic fortress that China couldn’t dream of competing with.
4. Resources + American capital = explosion of wealth. Canada’s oil, minerals, and water paired with U.S. markets and investment. Actual prosperity instead of managed decline.
5. Harmonized regulations so doctors, engineers, and tradespeople can work anywhere without jumping through endless bureaucratic hoops.
This isn’t becoming the 51st state. It’s two sovereign nations acting like adults and building the strongest economic bloc on Earth.
Forget the European Union. It’s a weaker version of this. Canada’s current path is national suicide. Choose strength over feelings & TDS.
Thoughts? 🇺🇸🇨🇦
NEW: US State Department Undersecretary Rogers:
"In 2021, Canadian media and institutions basically hallucinated the discovery of 215 children’s bodies in a mass grave near a former Catholic residential school."
@muminek1980 We are already underperforming every other developed country, because we put all our eggs into real estate. Now that the housing market is correcting we are going to need to pivot to resources and historical strengths. The transition will be …. rough.
