JUST IN: The hip-hop singer known as Byu Har, who was arrested on 24 May and jailed because of his short video clip posted on Facebook complaining about the power shortage and challenging the junta regime to manage the electricity and power better on 23 May, was confirmed “dead” in Insein prison at 4:15 am.

It is believed that his death might be the result of the brutal torture of the junta security forces.

His family confirms that they are not unable to communicate with Mr. Byu Har.

Chindwin cannot independently verify the report of Mr Byu Har’s death coming out from Insein prison.
