Petroleum levy is the perfect example of Pakistan’s economic sickness.
IMF asks for revenue.
Our rulers choose the easiest victim: the man filling petrol, the transporter buying diesel, the shopkeeper paying higher freight, the family watching food prices rise again.
The government is offering a 50 million PKR reward for info leading to the arrest of senior JAAC leaders Shaukat Nawaz & Umar Nazir.
Authorities state they are responsible for mobilizing people against the state and causing regional instability. Call law enforcement
@DThucydides I've seen this in Peshawar/Rawalpindi Cantt myself .... Village folk not giving a shiii about anything but once they move into an established colony/society and the society enforces its rules on them they happily abide by them including the cantt rules
@DThucydides Simply start sending bills for things like water & sanitation and their neighhood maintenance
When folks see that something is happening in their neighbourhood & or just general maintenance work is being undertaken regularly then they'll happily pay the monthly charges
One can easily see the amount of trash and plastic buried in picture and then we wonder why we all die so easily now.... Since all these microplastics enter into the soil and water below and travels everywhere to end up in our food and water (where it'll still remain undetected)

@MeenakhanAfridi
@AliPK1947 Same thing for Hazara and Malakand divisions
Not every place needs to have massive industries or is even built for it (economy and geography wise)
@AliPK1947 Honestly, Azad Kashmir + GB don't need industries like Punjab/Sind .... It should be built into a first world touristy place and have a service based economy plus trading centers and small local cottages
@AliPK1947 and loads of data centers and architecturally beautiful business districts with a tax heaven status for foreign workers.
Technology is where that region can easily shine plus in attracting digital nomads who want to work remotely in a nice place with decent infrastructure
@AliPK1947 GB+Kashmir can benefit the most from IT revolution, having cheap electricity and cool temps
Gov should charge them accordingly in their bills and use that money to build them advance roads, HSR networks, powerful grid, new dams, schools/unis/hospital/monuments/forests,
The thing about water is that it never leaves Earth, Earth itself is a closed system.
Even in open loop cooling in data centers, that water most likely just evaporates only to come back as rain
The data centre will probably use closed loop cooling. If you actually cared about drinking water, you’d call out wasteful farming practices, and 90% of our sewage going into rivers.
You’re just virtue signalling about data centres.
So all in all, everyone against data centers (that employee modern efficient 3R practices) are idiots...
Data is new gold and for data sovereignty and reduced dependency on west we need hundreds of mega data centers with trillions of rupees of investments and tech
@firsttspringg they look absolutely shit and ugly and make the environment for everyone else uncomfortable especially women and those with families. baki about women I dont care what they wear cuz ain't my problem and almost non of them wear shitty clothes like men
