No way the control sat is anywhere other than the middle. Too much angular momentum required to stabilise if the thrusters aren’t at of close to the centre of mass. There is no way the control sat is on an edge or corner, if you fired a thruster it would just pivot about the centre o mass - ie no way at all to control all 3 axis.
@grok, what would flawless execution look like? What would you estimate to be the most effective timeline of announcements that must be made (shipping and launch dates) based on known SoacX capacity and what announcements would have greatest effect on creating lasting upside trend?
@LukidDreamer@thekookreport Because they are all short….only logical answer, ignorance doesn’t work anymore, even @NASASpaceflight were talking about it during launch program.
@spacanpanman $ASTS The thing that caught my attention that no one has mentioned is Elon’s dig at the use of patents at the beginning of his comments. It seems that maybe they have realised that ASTS moat is going to slow them down - as stated to at earliest end of next year. Given their track record on timelines, I think @AST_SpaceMobile have minimum 18 months, probably more, advantage. This has been overlooked, but they admitted it last night!
@spacanpanman We just swapped ours all out for Starlink. It’s brilliant. It has a place, D2D is not it. Was trying to get Vodafone to let me test ASTS connections in flight.
Where is the stacking/assembly taking place? I would think one stack needs to clear before the next can ship to keep the environment stable, can’t spend forever on a flatbed with an aircon unit…
Ergo, stacking/encapsulation time will dictate delivery and launch cadence. This would hold true for all space coast launches regardless of provider.
Ergo we are not behind any schedule anywhere.
Q.E.D.
Can you explain the short thesis? I just don’t get why on earth anyone would short $ASTS. The mechanics of hedging I get, it sort of makes sense until you actually look at the company, its mission, what has been achieved etc. in reality, we are only 1 BB behind schedule at this point for 2026. It’s bananas.
There is a certain poetry to holding.
When fear results in a holder selling, fear of missing out will also kick in with the upside.
With the way we are set, some large buyers moving in, already short sold to the hilt, FOMO will be the catalyst that will result in a squeezing action.
I don’t think we will see a GME squeeze. But we will see a soft one.
@endless_frank Why are there 3-4 paragraphs dedicated to explaining this has nothing to do with class A shares. I don’t recall that kind of language in previous raises/notes/dilutions.
