Okay okay. I didn’t believe people saying Astra has gone to the shitters.. but in the last 4 days, I’ve been cursing Astra so much more than I ever did Sol because it feels so retarded these days..
I miss launch version of Astra. We had good times. 🥺
@thsottiaux@udiWertheimer Wait.. ok? Fine? Reset incoming!? Holyy. And here i am arguing with myself to use my codex sub or not because i’m hanging by a thread
Tempo is now on the App Store: Tempo Sports & Interval Timer.
https://t.co/Uw1EeBYz5g
It’s a small interval timer for workouts. You can create routines with prep, work, rest, and rounds, or use it as a stopwatch or countdown timer. It also has presets for HIIT, Tabata, and strength training.
This was mostly a technical test.
I wanted to see how a React and Vite app, wrapped with Capacitor, would behave as an actual mobile app. I wanted to test the animations, native audio and haptics, keeping the screen awake, and notifications.
I also wanted to see if a Capacitor app would get approved by Apple on the first try.
It did. We submitted it without making any mobile-specific adjustments after the first version, and it was approved on the first submission.
The review did take about two weeks. That may be related to the current influx of vibe-coded mobile apps being submitted to the App Store, although I don’t know that for sure.
I usually use React Native for mobile apps, and I also have one cross-platform app built with Flutter. So this was my first proper test of using Capacitor for this kind of thing.
Everything went smoothly.
This is probably good news for the vibe coders too lol. If you already have a web-based app, you can wrap it in Capacitor and potentially get it approved on the App Store without rebuilding the whole thing as a native app.
Obviously, this is only one small app and not a guarantee that every app will pass review. But based on this experience, Capacitor is genuinely a viable platform for making mobile apps today.
I’m planning to use my personal App Store account for more apps like this. Some will be concepts, some will be experiments, and some will just be technical tests that seemed worth shipping.
Check out Tempo if you want to see Capacitor in action.
Heavily using DeepSeek v4.1 Flash on most of my workflows..
not using any othe model right now, except for Astra for the stuff that needs heavier reasoning.
it's really that good imo
I’m loving everything about DeepSeek and their dgaf attitude. Doesn’t even give af about marketing and gimmicks. Just casually dropping prices, frontier level flash models, and just putting their heads down to work without any political and corporate bs or greed.
Only thing I want from DS right now is.. subscription packages. Although, I do understand why they’re doing solely API pricing. Would love to have a Subscription though. Automatically getting the highest tier package they would offer.
🚀 Introducing DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash: smarter, faster, more efficient.
🔹 Introducing the smallest model in our new architecture family, with native visual understanding.
🔹 Designed for greater capability, faster inference, higher throughput, and scaling to larger models.

@deepseek_ai is cooking with v4.1 Flash! (It’s on open testing for 24 hours)
378 tok/s. 99.9% cache hit.
This is mid-build. It’s not yet done building the game.
Had to steer it once to mute the browser while testing. Other than that, it’s practically a one shot.
Using DeepSeek Harness.
