@BrandSanderson revived an old twitter account to say thank you. About to finish Way of Kings, and I now officially read fantasy. This is an incredible piece of fiction. Don’t tell me how it ends, though.
Weird day:
Got some patients to push into it pain, some to back off.
Gave some posture advice, told others to ignore it.
Used symptom modification...but not on everyone.
Got some patients flexing there Lx while lifting. Others not.
Did some manual therapy.
Yikes! 😂
1/ An abstraction of many twitter arguments I see:
Person A: “This form of Type II error is intolerable & must be stopped.”
Person B: “You’re proposing a nightmare of Type I error! Thus I refuse to even acknowledge Type II error.”
Person A: “What Type I error? You’re a dolt!”
REAL strength training is boring.
It will consist of the same few movements, with slightly increasing loads, repeated for weeks at a time.
You will rest a lot.
You will need it.
Flashy shirtless IG workouts will make you tired. They won't make you strong.
Huge difference
@Hulksmashyerma2 @RubinReport@TuckerCarlson@mmfa@GoAngelo I think we hit the Great White Buffalo of a productive, pleasant, and brief political twitter convo. Be well.
@Hulksmashyerma2 @RubinReport@TuckerCarlson@mmfa@GoAngelo Maybe better framed as “see? I don’t think you’re a shitty person because you said A, B, & C, so your claim that I’m shitty is also invalid.” ?
@Hulksmashyerma2 @RubinReport@TuckerCarlson@mmfa@GoAngelo Agreed. It’s the celebration / glee that seems counterproductive. Although, I guess that’s hard to quantify, it’s just the most annoying when viewed from the other side of the argument.
