I started on a new team at Microsoft working on Viva Amplify & SharePoint News. Watch my short overview to learn more about Amplify. If you have questions or feedback about either, let me know, I'm trying to learn from customers and users as fast as I can!
@Steve_C_Brown We are finishing up work to have Amplify in GCC, but not sure when it'll be available as we are part of the Viva C&C license which includes Engage, and I don't think they are ready yet for GCC.
@TheBebsMLC Are the videos uploaded to the same team/group library? Or are they in ODB and other sites/teams. Playlists just link to the videos, you have to set permissions on the videos so users have access. I wish playlists did more auto permission magic but they don’t.
Trim for videos in SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams via Microsoft Stream is now 100% rolled out for WW tenants (GCC coming soon). https://t.co/hIklSJkXsy
This is the top requested feature on our ideas forum! https://t.co/0N68wOKWQe
@Y_enitan Push the support person to get a response from the engineer team. If you have a MS account person assigned to your organization, they can help push the case. I don’t know off hand if the migration team is still technically able to open it back up temporarily or not.
@KinetikNews With the M365 Copilot license you get tons of AI capabilities across many things in M365, not just videos in Stream. This feature for videos is just one feature in a suite of Copilot capabilities.
🤖▶️ Copilot in Microsoft Stream has rolled out to 100% of WW! Try it with the Copilot license on any video uploaded to SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, or Viva Engage with a transcript.

@theatretwitt The OneDrive mobile app has the mobile Stream player inside it. So at least for me, I see playback speed available on videos I open in the OD app on iOS, even when playing a video offline. Do you have that in your version yet?
@theatretwitt Have you tried using the OneDrive mobile app? You can access your OneDrive and sites/teams libraries. For a video file you can mark it as “Make available offline” which keeps it just in the OneDrive app for playback when you don’t have internet.
@DarrellaaS @MicrosoftStream So ultimately you are looking for easier portability of videos and extra metadata across tenants. Where you make a video and provide it to multiple customers to be played in M365 in Stream. Makes sense.
@SoniaCuff@donasarkar 1. Upload the video to anywhere in M365. 2. Click to open it in online in the web, which opens it in the Stream player. 3. Click video settings 4. Open the transcript section, click generate or in many cases it’s already generating.
