Have you ever been to a wake where the deceased was the kind of person who say: "At my wake, I want everyone to grab a beer and talk shit about the people I hate. That's it, and no crying!"
That's what this feels like right now.
In a weird way, I think that the destruction of this platform by an arrogant billionaire with no understanding of how humans interact with one another sort of brought us all closer together again.
I haven't tweeted much in the past couple of years, but I'm still a daily Twitter visitor.
I'm hopeful this Musk deal will somehow fall apart. If it doesn't, I'm going to sign out and never return.
It has been a trip. ๐โฎ๏ธ๐
@Aidan_vii Hi Aidan, Marc from Crashlytics here. I agree our Gradle Kotlin DSL could be improved, but getting it to work should be less hacky than what you've described.
Does the approach described here work for you? https://t.co/VNcmBjonbe
@jeffseibert@Wayne@crashlytics We've tested more concise onboarding instructions. Customers overwhelmingly prefer verbose onboarding that leaves less to the imagination. They certainly prefer it to "magic" that is unmaintainable in Apple's closed ecosystem.
Thats not a flashy tweet but it is straight facts.
@jeffseibert@Wayne@crashlytics It wasn't because we stopped innovating with them; they'd simply outlived their usefulness as an enabling technology. The core customer benefit was eventually achieved through standardized tooling, so our revolutionary bespoke thing became an anachronism.
Looks like I won't be quitting this hellsite after all. I can't decide if that's a good thing or not.
Either way, I hope Twitter completely demolishes Musk in court.
So many people at Twitter have worked tirelessly (and often thanklessly) to make this site the best it can be, battling the worst of humanity because there was so much opportunity for good here.
That opportunity feels like it is slipping away, probably forever.
