It’s amazing to me that the management team sat down when planning this game, and thought this was something that needed to be established.

Not gameplay, not story, not how it can be successful. They spent brainpower focusing on details that would intentionally upset the core audience.

Why not just give people a good game, and not shake up the plethora of amazing lore they have full creative access to?

Nope, over a stupid detail - piss of some percentage of your audience. How do these executive managers still have jobs? I could do better half drunk on my couch.

What exactly is going right in California? Nobody can afford the American dream there except the ultra wealthy. If California politics is the shining example of what to do, then why is there no middle class? Why is the cost of living so high? Why do they tax people to death?

You probably don’t have any answers. You just follow your party blindly.
