@MLJHaynes Since there seems to be some doubt about my character, the veracity of my account, and the very reality of my having received a response, here is the response to the response I sent.
@MLJHaynes The Vatican talks out of both sides of its mouth: I assisted at a Jesuit Mass in Washington, D.C. A lay woman gave the homily; when I wrote to object, I was informed that none other than Cardinal McElroy authorized and encouraged the practice.
@RorateCaeli But perhaps the pain and confusion they feel is real enough. I'm SSPX, but I can understand the madness of the current situation leading to such dire conclusions...
@CatholicRob Tradition in the Church is already excommunicated, reviled, and shunned. Have fun with your Synodality, gay blessings, and girl-boss nuns.
@JeffCassman@FrStephenImb Early on, Benedict was on the cutting edge of Modernism before and during the Council. He did appear to ease off the pedal and reconsider his prior allegiances.
@CookiesBabcia False-ecumenism run amok. This is the mantra of the "Church of Just Being Nice" over and over again. And, of course, it's easier not to oppose the world and its ways rather than uphold the Cross high and unwavering.
Despite having a beautiful parish, St. Cecilia in Wisconsin Dells is forced to have the Tridentine Mass in the parish gym. And they can't even mention the Mass time on their parish website.
@PaulinusOfTrier There are trolls galore on X looking to feed their glee over the coming excommunicationsโฆand wishing for the extent of them to be total.
