@condonTUS I can't really think of a video game based movie that was amazing; but sonic was a fun time I think.
I'm looking forward to seeing what the rumoured five nights at freddy's movie is going to be. I don't expect much, but it might be pretty good, or at least different.

In the future, there seems like there's gonna be a lot of games and DLC, among other things coming out next year.

@warmcocoaandco1 Minecraft and half life 2 are probably the easiest and most fun to mod. Half life 2 is fun when you want to play through a personalized FPS experience.
And in minecraft, there are a bunch of great mods that seriously change the survival experience in the game.

@LitReidy Fallout 76 was a game that was dead on arrival. Pretty much everyone knows that Bethesda did a terrible job at the game's launch.

@condonTUS I feel like lots of games that are coming out nowadays are being developed solely to become viral; even if they aren't really rewarding gameplay experiences, that only stay fun for about a month or two.
Games like phasmophobia and fall guys are good examples of this, I feel.

@warmcocoaandco1 I've always wondered what the cake in minecraft tastes like. It seems like it might be chocolate or something, but it looks a bit too bright to be cocoa, so maybe it's something else.

@LitReidy The newer entries into the Deus ex series, like human revolution and mankind divided are games that I feel a lot of people have sidelined, as they see them as shadows of the originals. But I'd still recommend people check them out, as I do think they're great experiences.

@condonTUS Goldeneye was way better than it had any right to be.
Rare at that time was so good at making video games, and it's even better if you can find an emulation of it for PC.

It seems a lot of game series' have either stagnated, or can't stop adding entries into their series, regardless of quality.
It does seem like we're in a turning point in the way that games are being made, but I'm not sure it'll stay this way.

@warmcocoaandco1 It's hard to pick a single track and say: "It's the best" Because when someone listens to it, they might think it's good, but they won't truly feel what the song is supposed to convey, unless they play the game it was from; and hear it in its original context.

@LitReidy Oh, where to start; the silent hill games, Chrono trigger, Earthbound, there's too many games to count. But more than anything, I'd love a remake of super mario 64. To be clear: I'd want a REMAKE, not whatever it is Nintendo ported to the switch, in the 3D all-stars collection.

@condonTUS Even though it's not the most high fidelity, photo-realistic experience, the pixel art of Celeste is something that always mesmerizes me.

I just found the most wonderful indie game on steam! It's called 'webbed.' I don't love spiders, but this is quite delightful. I'd love to see some games that are wonderfully novel in their presentation!

@warmcocoaandco1 Being in the post apocalypse would have it's silver linings if you ask me. On the one hand, sure, most people are either dead or walking corpses; but on the other, I can finally burn down my neighbour's house for 'forgetting' to get me a birthday gift!

@condonTUS I never watch the game awards, usually it just seems like the Oscars. Which is to say, a waste of time. The games I want to win game of the year, don't even get nominated usually.

The campaign for Halo infinite is releasing today! It's the first Halo game that I've played; I wish I got into this series sooner!

@LitReidy I really liked the outer worlds, it was a lot of fun. Some people didn't like it as much as Oblivion's other games, but I thought it was really graphically beautiful with tons of well written jokes!

@condonTUS I'd say probably: Minecraft, celeste, cuphead and Shovel knight, Treasure trove. Each of those games are infinitely replayable to me.
