Took a break from #twitter. Back for a couple days and the only thing it's brought me is an awareness of Steven Crowder. I was so blissfully unaware of this clowns existence. This place is a toxic wasteland, y'all. What are we doing here?
@tannerewalt The more aware of inequities, the more unhappy with the status quo one becomes.
The answer is therapy. For the men. Women are already doing that work.

@AnthonyBouchard Hey, want to make young girls stop; hating their bodies, feeling powerless and wishing their lives were radically different? PLEASE, stop talking. You. People like you. Please. Stop. Talking. Stop legislating. Just, stop.
cw: pregnancy loss
I live in Alabama, a state with a total abortion ban, and was so overjoyed when I found out I was pregnant last month. Iโve been doing everything right. Stopped caffeine, took my prenatal vitamins, followed every rec. But I started bleeding on Tuesday.๐งต
@jmacfunk I doubt we'll have much luck holding teachers from the 80's accountable for fight clubs when the whole series is investigating a murder no one was ever held accountable for.
I don't think the journalist is claiming this is still going on ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
@jmacfunk I didn't grow up here but I've already had a couple of friends confirm it happened in their Wyo HS.
My husband also grew up in Cheyenne and he does NOT remember anything like that so I wonder if it was different in the Capitol city ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
A reporter reflecting on her time in Laramie, WY:
"I've always remembered it as a mean town. Uncommonly mean. A place of jagged edges and cold people. Where the wind blew so hard it actually whipped pebbles at you."

@pearlhart2022 That was the tipping point, right? The pandemic. We were pforced to look at the very... disappointing pieces of this place that we live.
