@LuisDeStefano@DaniNierenberg Cheap food is good?? I Should have been more specific - Chips, soda, cookies, fast food chains - these are the cheap, highly processed foods I am speaking of - fresh, nourishing foods will always cost more than junk food.
Americans spend a smaller share of their income on food (by a large margin) than any other developed country. We are subsidizing a food system that produces foods high in calories and low in nutrients that are offered to us cheap cheap.
