American Airlines passenger duct tape to his seat following unruly behavior onboard flight AA618 Thursday night.

Arthur Lundeen, 67, of Arizona, was restrained to his seat with duct tape and his hands were restrained with zip ties, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority Police, which arrested him after the plane landed.

Authorities did not provide details of the disruption that took place during the flight, but the plane was diverted to Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport around 10:15 p.m., the Federal Aviation Administration, which is also probing the incident, said.

Boyd had previously been married to George Harrison of The Beatles before marrying Clapton that same year. Their relationship inspired several famous rock songs, including Clapton’s “Layla” and “Wonderful Tonight,” as well as Harrison’s “Something,” which many believe was written about Boyd.

Clapton and Harrison remained friends despite the complicated history. In the early 1970s, Clapton openly admitted his feelings for Boyd while she was still married to Harrison, creating one of rock music’s most talked-about personal rivalries.

Boyd and Clapton married in March 1979 after years of on-and-off relationships. By 1977, Clapton was rebuilding his career after struggles with heroin addiction earlier in the decade.

That same year, he released the album Slowhand, which became one of the best-selling records of his career and included “Wonderful Tonight,” reportedly written while waiting for Boyd to get ready for a party.
