Marco Attisano is the kind of leader we need in Harrisburg. He's a veteran, a leader in the business community, and a former prosecutor -- but most importantly he's passionate about the people of our state. We're proud to announce our endorsement of @MarcoForPA for #PA30!
Allegheny/Fayette Union Veterans Council, part of the @AlleghenyLabor, is focused on building bridges between veterans and labor unions in Western PA.
As a Navy veteran and member of a union family, I am proud to have their support and friendship.
My grandfather served in World War II and today I remember him, all those who have served, those who continue to serve, and all the men and women that have made the ultimate sacrifice during their time of service.
Memorial Day originally started as “Decoration Day” to honor fallen soldiers. We may not be able to celebrate by gathering with friends and family, but we can all still celebrate by taking time to remember all those that have served and those that made the ultimate sacrifice.
Honoring #MemorialDayWeekend, I spent the morning walking with my son in St. Mary's Church Cemetery in O'Hara Township.
Called to mind a poem:
Remember those who served
Remember those who are no more
Remember those who serve today
Remember them all on Memorial Day
