“Being kind” as we define it isn’t always the Christian thing to do. Telling a person that they are sinning and need to repent is NOT some form of bigotry; it’s just tough love.
Don’t ever let a liberal tell you Jesus would’ve supported certain forms of sin like homosexuality just because he was the Son of God and had to therefore act “kind.” Jesus loved everyone so much that he knew when to tell them if they were in the wrong, regardless of whether or not they wanted to hear it.
Affirming and enabling people’s sin is the opposite of kindness because you’re setting up their souls for Hell.
Christianity is not a cross necklace, scripture tattoo, ashes on your forehead, and a verse in your bio.
It's seeking after God's heart. Dying to your flesh. Not fitting in a world full of sin. It's trusting in Jesus to save you not your own deeds. Its living for Jesus.

Today, I was visiting with a brother. This friend calls himself a Christian, but doesn't always act like it. Some days he’s on fire for the Lord, and other days life's struggles seem to get the best of him. So, as our eyes met, I really wanted to say something about it to him, but decided to just let the Lord speak to his heart, knowing nothing I could say would ever have the impact that the Lord making Himself real in his heart would make.
So I prayed with him. And after some time passed, I winked at him...
and walked away from the mirror…
The entirety of reality runs on God's love and focusing your mind and heart on Christ is the key to making the sufferings and disappointments of this life not only bearable but meaningful.
