I am very excited to have just completed the first draft of my seventh PhD chapter. I am extremely passionate about this chapter, and acutely aware of the vast impact it will have when this thesis is complete.
On to the next!!
Today I competed in my first triathlon. An extremely daunting prospect. However, I persevered through the nerves, and came out the other side having thoroughly enjoyed myself. An Olympic triathlon debut of 02:56:34. It’s early days but I feel like this could be the first of many!
It was a pleasure to present the findings of our systematic review at @KingstonUni Festival of Research Conference today. “The Parental Experience of Raising a Child with Conduct Disorder: What We Know”. So many other fascinating presentations too!
I am so happy and proud to share that I have had my first paper accepted for publication with the Journal of Child and Family Studies.
I am so excited for this essential research to be recognised, and for these parents to be heard. This is just the start! @MariaLivanou1
Very grateful to have been invited to attend the CAMH 2023 lecture event in-person. I am very much looking forward to hearing and learning from the great experts in our field, and will be sure to share my insights on the day!

A slide from an upcoming presentation I am giving about research impact. With today’s REF emphasising the importance of the societal impact of research, it is vital that our findings extend beyond the publication. How can we drive progress, how can we help where help is needed?
Very pleased to be presenting my work at @KingstonUni’s FBSS conference 2023.

A fantastic article by my colleague and friend @LillythQuillan 👏 If you do anything today, give this piece a read. When it comes to Conduct Disorder and Psychopathy, a shift in public perception is drastically needed, and Lillyth is at the forefront of this movement.
This is, hands down, the most important thing I have ever written or probably ever will write. If you only read one thing I write for the rest of your life, make it this article.

What great company I was in! These talks are all so amazing! I learned a TON and they changed the way I think about stigma. Be sure to watch all the talks, not just mine! Stigma is a topic we ALL need to learn more about!
