The bass guitar is one of the most underrated instruments in music.
It may not always take the spotlight like the lead guitar, but it gives music its heartbeat. It connects the rhythm to the melody and makes you feel the music rather than just hear it.
Sometimes, the most important things don't need to be loud to make an impact.
That's the beauty of the bass guitar.
Music is not merely a collection of sounds; it is a powerful force that shapes the human soul, influences character, and communicates emotions beyond the reach of words."
— Inspired by the philosophy of Plato.
A thought from Plato's philosophy:
Music has the power to shape who we become. What we listen to does not only entertain our ears; it can influence our minds, emotions, behaviour and character.

A young man drove 3 hours to sell his supercharged Chevy Camaro to a car dealer for $32,000, only to discover that the employee he had been negotiating with had been fired for allegedly scamming other dealerships 😳👀
The dealer initially refused to pay $32,000 and admitted he didn’t even want to buy the modified car, but eventually agreed to match another dealership’s $30,000 offer. Instead of accepting, the young man convinced him to flip a coin for either $29,000 or $31,000, putting an extra $1,000 on the line. The dealer agreed, lost the coin toss, and ended up paying $31,000 for a car he didn’t even want to buy.
“I’m a gambling man. What if we did some kind of outrageous coin flip?”
“29 or 31?”
“That's pretty good. You got it going on. Come on. All right, I can't say no. Let's do it.”
China’s universities are finding smart solutions to everyday student problems.
Zhengzhou University installed 18 soundproof booths inside its library, giving students free private spaces for job interviews, online meetings, phone calls and speaking practice without disturbing others.
The result? More than 56,000 bookings since opening in October 2025, with demand so high that another 18 booths are now planned.
