The Lakers’ interest in Jonathan Kuminga has stalled, per @DanWoikeSports
“The Athletic has reported on the Lakers’ interest in free agent Jonathan Kuminga since late June, but it appears that momentum has stalled with the sides far apart on terms and L.A. not overly motivated to push significant draft capital into sign-and-trade scenarios. Still, he appears to be the biggest upside play left on the table, and could re-emerge as a target if his market remains tepid.”

@dayoungbulll@blackgodwayne 1. We haven’t seen a WR this good in college since Julio and that’s including Chase and JJ…..2. These QBs are nowhere near Bryce nor CJ…and 3. Jeremiah smith is the best player in both this upcoming and last years draft
Jeremiah smith can sit the year out the same way Chase did…and he’s far and away the best player in the draft..don’t let the fact that we’ve had to watch him for two years fool you
Rui Hachimura went for $14 mil a year. Smart for $7, Kennard for $6 and Hayes $6.
All those are bargain deals and the team with the most money going into free agency couldn’t retain one of them.
Lakers meanwhile, do not have one contract on a bargain deal.
