He’s still the second-best defender in the world and an All-NBA nod at 24 years old.
He clearly has a problem against the Spurs, but anyone saying this is now a “bad” contract only watched this series and nothing else.
Gotta tip your cap to the Spurs. They played well. Wish we would’ve gotten to see both teams with everyone available, but that’s not how sports work sometimes.
Still a hell of a season for the Thunder. Absolutely loved cheering for that group of men.
As always..#ThunderUp
It’s still #ThunderUp for life. I’m so proud of the fight from this team against all of this adversity. Thank you all for an incredible season @okcthunder I love you all. I’m so proud of you all.
Proud of the squad man with the injuries they had this season still won 64 games and made it further than any defending champ has in the 2020’s we’ll be back next year
The Thunder’s title defense ends just shy of the Finals. Repeating is difficult. They felt that in this series, losing Mitchell and Williams, enduring a forgettable Shai series, watching San Antonio find responses. OKC will be back. But it feels clear that the Spurs will too.
I know it shouldn’t bother me as much as it does, but an All-Defense first team ballot with Jaylen Brown & Jalen Duren is quite literally unbelievable.

Incredibly impressive OKC win.
No JDub.
Spurs fully healthy.
Hostile road environment.
Ajay Mitchell left with an injury.
Down 15-0 to start the game.
Outscored the Spurs every quarter after the opening frame.
Breaking: Oklahoma City Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has won his second consecutive NBA Most Valuable Player award, becoming the 14th player in league history to win back-to-back MVPs, multiple sources tell ESPN.
Really sad news out of Memphis. Brandon Clarke has died. He was 29.
He was great with kids. He had just established his own foundation and was committed to pouring into the Memphis community. I went to two of those events. Keep his family in prayers.
