King Flaco 🦉💕 braving his first snow in Central Park one year ago. I love his composed attitude and his posture that exudes strength and royalty.
RIP Flaco, I am so very grateful to have spent so much time in your presence.

Flaco didn't know it, but February 1, 2023 would be the last night he'd ever spend in his Central Park zoo enclosure. Thirteen years in a cage too small to fly in. The next night he'd leave the zoo and find himself on Fifth Avenue! #Flaco#CentralPark 📸@prsyl
🎉🎉🎉Flaco has returned to Central Park this morning! I’m out of town, but my friend Susan sent me this photo! Welcome back, Flaco! ❤️🦉❤️ #owls#flaco#centralpark
On Saturday night Flaco the Eurasian Eagle-Owl hooted from over twenty stories high and for more than two hours, broadcasting to all the news that Manhattan's Upper West Side now is *his* territory. 🦉 ♥️
Flaco the Eurasian eagle-owl checking out someone’s balcony in the Lower East side of Manhattan Thursday night. Perhaps he heard that his cousins in Europe and Asia occasionally nest in balconies.
See charming YouTube video below.

Welcome to the dark, spiritual void at the heart of the holiday season—at least for the characters in these gritty crime dramas.

I have 2 free tickets for The Bikeriders this Friday 11:15am at Royal Festival Hall due to a scheduling conflict. 🏍️
Bummed that I have to miss it!
After record-setting rainfall for most of the day, I ventured out to check on our favorite Eurasian Eagle-owl. He's fine, though I must say he looked a little soggy and forlorn! And check out his talons! ❤️🦉❤️#Flaco#CentralPark#birdcpp
🦉🦉🦉Flaco and the Central Park squirrel (cont). After a lengthy stare down, the squirrel decided to take the lower branch and Flaco chose to let it pass! Flaco then went back to sleep and they both lived happily ever after! 😊😊😊#Flaco#CentralPark#birdcpp
