Nothing else matters during this time.
Making money is a mind game: You have to take 10 steps backwards in the eyes of society to take 1000 steps forward. In other words, you need to stomach making $0/day (for x time) in order to make $100k+/day. Most people never want to make $0/day so they never make $100k+/day.
The real purpose of wealth is to have the calm to live your life your way. It's to have the freedom to slow down. To spend your days doing things that you actually care about. That’s what money is really for. Not to impress strangers. Or to collect expensive distractions. But to own your time. To have a quiet breakfast without checking emails. Long dinners without looking at the clock. Conversations without feeling rushed. A calm weekend without thinking about the spreadsheet you need to turn in on Tuesday. Time to read. To think. To explore your interests. That’s real wealth. Everything else is noise.
@BobSellersTV@SpencerHakimian Massive emergency cuts from the fed and a historic flight to safety into US government debt. What productivity are you talking about?
One of the greatest viruses of the modern man is looking at Instagram Stories. You will melt your brain looking at a barrage of outcomes—like vacations, parties, cars—with no visibility of the process that got them there.
We’re sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics.
The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra.
The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.
I really don’t see this happening anywhere near that timeline, mainly because the plumbing of China’s financial system just isn’t built to support a global reserve currency.
For starters, foreign capital doesn't even have direct access to Chinese assets. When foreigners buy into Chinese tech giants, they don't actually own shares in the Chinese operating business; they own shares in an offshore shell company, usually a Variable Interest Entity (VIE) registered in places like the Cayman Islands. That entity just holds profit-sharing contracts with the actual company on the mainland. If Beijing ever chooses to challenge or annul those structures, foreign investors are left holding paper with zero legal claim to the underlying physical assets.
On top of that, running a world reserve currency means you have to let money slosh freely across your borders, and Beijing does the exact opposite. They enforce heavy capital controls on what enters and leaves the country because they prioritize stability and preventing domestic wealth flight over free market flow. Coupled with that, they deliberately manage and suppress the yuan's exchange rate to keep exports cheap and unload their enormous industrial overcapacity onto foreign buyers. You can't be the world's reserve currency on an export-driven model; reserve currencies have to run massive deficits to supply the rest of the world with liquidity, which is directly at odds with China’s entire economic playbook.
There’s also the practical issue of where central banks would actually park their money. The US dollar stays dominant because the US Treasury market is a massive, hyper-liquid pool where global institutions can park trillions and exit whenever they want without moving the market. China simply doesn't offer a debt market that is transparent, open, or deep enough for the world’s sovereign wealth funds to store their reserves at scale.
Until China is willing to run persistent trade deficits, fully surrender control of the yuan's value, and open its capital account unconditionally, supplanting the dollar remains a non-starter.
To match the 26 grams of protein found in a light 110-calorie portion of tuna, you have to consume nearly 500 calories of pumpkin seeds. Tuna delivers almost pure, high-efficiency protein without the massive caloric and fat burden, making it vastly superior for hitting protein targets, preserving a calorie deficit, and staying lean.
Because wealth accumulation requires a certain level of cruelty. And most smart people are not cruel. For example, let's say I run a business, and I know that in order for it to make me a millionaire, I need to pay my workers 3k p/m. As a smart person, I know that 3k p/m is nowhere near enough for someone to live comfortably on. The only question that remains is whether I care or not.
Holding foreign gold reserves isn’t about using or seizing the metal; it is the ultimate geopolitical flex of trust and power.
When sovereign nations voluntarily store their most critical wealth in Manhattan vaults, it signals absolute confidence that the United States is a stable, rational actor capable of protecting global order and respecting property rights, even during severe international crises. If the US were to steal it, that credibility would evaporate overnight.
The exact same logic underpins the US dollar. The global financial system runs on USD not because nations are forced to use it, but because they trust the deep liquidity, rule of law, and safety of the American financial system to safeguard their purchasing power. Storing gold and holding dollars are two sides of the same coin: they anchor the US at the center of global trade precisely because the world trusts it not to break the rules.
Here’s a good decision-making filter for the people in your life. If somebody makes it harder to behave like the person you respect being, they are too costly to have in your life.
The premise that Big Tech is drowning in debt with negligible revenue is fundamentally inaccurate. The Magnificent Seven fund the vast majority of their AI capital expenditures directly through massive operational cash flows and balance sheet cash reserves, not reckless debt. Furthermore, the commercial growth across AI is undeniable, Anthropic alone has crossed a $65 billion annualized revenue run rate this year.
That said, the market still shows clear signs of a speculative bubble. Valuations are heavily front-loaded on extreme assumptions: that AGI is right around the corner, that autonomous robotics will rapidly scale, and that massive enterprise productivity windfalls will immediately materialize.
While real-world adoption and monetization are happening at an unprecedented pace, the gap between speculative hype and actual economic delivery makes a market correction inevitable.
The average man is too honest in places where he should be strategic, and too dishonest in places where he should be accountable. He reveals his plans to strangers, but lies to himself about his habits. Power begins when you reverse this. Be private with the world. Be mercilessly honest with yourself.
btw in your 20's and 30’s you’ll start rediscovering the niche interests and hobbies you had as a kid. it’s very important you revisit them. your younger self was actually on to something.
