The lyrics of Bob Marley's "No Woman, No Cry" are officially credited to his childhood friend Vincent "Tata" Ford, who ran a soup kitchen in the Jamaican ghetto where Marley grew up.
Marley gave Ford credit for writing the song so that the royalty payments could keep the soup kitchen open.
⚠️ In October 2024, Arkansas father Aaron Spencer woke up at 1AM to find his 13-year-old daughter missing.
He suspected 67-year-old Michael Fosler.
Fosler had already been charged with 43 counts of sexually abusing her.
Spencer tracked them down and forced Fosler’s truck off the highway… he then confronted Fosler, pulled out his gun, and shot him multiple times.
Fosler died instantly.
He then got his daughter to safety and called 911.
Spencer was charged with murder, but the case was dismissed this month.
What can you expect? After all, this was Texas.
In 1954 a 19 yr old Tommy Lee Walker was convicted by an all WHITE jury of the rape and murder of a white woman in Dallas Texas, two yrs later he was put to death in the electric chair while maintaining his innocence, 70 years later his conviction was over turned and it was found he was wrongly convicted, AMERICAN HISTORY!
Life is crazy. I’m currently homeless. I went to an art museum yesterday. A pregnant woman recognized me and told me I’m her favorite artist of all-time as we stood in a room surrounded with art by great artists. It was even more fulfilling because she said she owns this piece by me
this night i was standing outside and a guy who was clearly high on something stared at me for a few seconds then went “am i tripping or are you like….. Red”
I write in my upcoming book how true crime has conditioned people to think DNA evidence is IRREFUTABLE. It is NOT. Between lab contamination, cross contamination, partial samples, transfer DNA, and even forensic people LYING or misinterpreting stats at trials, it’s NOT foolproof
