The building is known as the Diamond building due to its shape and shiny facade with angles in such a way that it represents a multi-faceted diamond. It was designed like this so that every other building surrounding it would shine onto its facade - making every other building the real star when it comes to this cleverly positioned diamond.

Quite amazing to think that this building was built in the 80’s. If I showed you an image of this building with no context, many would think it was built more recently because of its modern design. This architecture is longevity at its finest. The architect himself is well-known for his brilliance. He designed the Sony Centre in Berlin as well as an airport in Bangkok, Thailand.
