God did not look at fallen man and choose to save him based on his works. He worked to save people because He loves us despite our works. We cannot earn God’s love, He freely loved us first. Jesus died to to save all those who would believe in Him, not all those who deserve Him.

If you are in Christ, you are no longer enslaved to sin. You are free from sin, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be tempted to sin. You no longer have to sin, but that doesn’t mean you’ll never sin again. If you are in Christ, there is no longer condemnation for sin. Turn to Him.

Prayer doesn’t have to perfect. Prayer shouldn’t just be a delight to hear, but a delight to the spirit.
