A year has passed since the martyrdom of Saleh Aljafarawi. A full year, yet his voice remains alive in Gaza’s memory, and his smile still reflects a spirit that war could never break.
Saleh is gone, but his images, words, and every moment he documented of Gaza’s suffering remain. He carried the voices of its people to the world. He was more than a journalist with a camera; he was a son of this land, who lived its pain and told its story until the very end.
May Allah have mercy on you, Saleh, forgive you, place all you did for Gaza on the scale of your good deeds, and grant you a place in His vast Paradise. 🤍
