@AvidCommentator 2. Visited home country only 2 see parents. The dinner out was only RSL club & that was also like once in 6 months. Never take away, always cooked at home,that was economical. Didn’t go 2 nail parlor, movies etc. Start small, don’t spend what you don’t have .

@AvidCommentator 1. I’m 63 and I migrated from a third world country without a cent and without anybody to help me. Hubby and I saved, took a mortgage in the late 80s. We went on to have children, childcare fees etc. We did not take overseas holidays, visited home country only 4 times in 20 yrs
