I have decided to file a Rs 15 Billion Defamation Suit, against Chairman, NAB. I have served Legal Notice upon him.

My Arrest Warrant was issued on a public holiday and was kept in secrecy for eight days. I was not informed about conversion of Al-Qadir Trust Case Inquiry into Investigation. Conditions stipulated in Sec 24 of NAB Ordinance were disregarded. Supreme Court held that manner and execution of my Arrest Warrant was unlawful and unconstitutional. To execute Arrest Warrant, Pakistan Rangers was used which subjected me to brute force.

Ulterior motive was to defame me by arresting me from premises of Islamabad High Court. And show the world that I was arrested on corruption charges.

I, collect Rs 10 billion in charity annually. My credibility has never been questioned. Nevertheless, act of implicating me in a bogus inquiry followed by my illegal and malafide arrest, have adversely affected my reputation. It has subjected me to ridicule. Therefore, I am well within my right to initiate Defamation proceedings.

Pakistan was 129 out of 140 countries in the rule of law index before the crackdown on PTI was unleashed with an assault on our fundamental rights never experienced before by the nation.

Today we have fallen to the levels of Myanmar and Sudan where might is right is the law. Without rule of law we will neither have democracy (freedom) or prosperity nor a future.

With complete disregard for the rule of law, this fascist govt - far worse than General Musharraf's martial law, has a one point agenda which is to crush PTI.

Meanwhile, Pak economy is going into a free fall. Dollar is at Rs. 315 in the open market, while for non CNIC holders the rate is between Rs 320-325. The gap between the official rate & open market rate is Rs30/$.

This dollarization of economy means no local or foreign investment into the country, which will result into contraction of the GDP and worse, lead to hyperinflation.

The PDM leaders have billions of dollars stashed abroad, and understandably they are not pushed. The question is, how on earth is the Pakistani establishment allowing the country to head towards a complete economic meltdown?

قانون کی حکمرانی کو پوری طرح پسِ پشت ڈالتے ہوئے یہ فسطائی حکومت جنرل مشرف کے مارشل لاء کو کہیں پیچھے چھوڑتے ہوئے، تحریک انصاف کو کچلنے کے یک نکاتی ایجنڈے پر کاربند ہے۔

اس دوران ملکی معیشت اوندھے منہ تباہی کی گہری کھائی میں گرتی جارہی ہے۔ اوپن مارکیٹ میں ڈالر 315 روپے میں فروخت ہورہا ہے جبکہ شناختی کارڈ نہ رکھنے والوں کیلئے تو یہ 320 سے 325 روپے میں دستیاب ہے۔ سرکاری اور اوپن مارکیٹ کے نرخ میں 30 روپے فی ڈالر کا فرق ہے۔

معیشت میں ڈالرز کی ذخیرہ اندوزی/روپے کے مقابلے میں ڈالرز پر عوام/کاروباری طبقے کے غیرمعمولی اعتماد کا سیدھا مطلب یہ ہے کہ ملک میں مقامی یا غیرملکی سرمایہ کاری ناپید ہے جس سے مجموعی قومی پیداوار (GDP) میں شدید سکڑاؤ پیدا ہوگا یا معیشت کو اس سے بھی شدید دھچکہ پہنچے گا اور ملک نہایت بلند افراطِ زر (شدید ترین مہنگائی/ہائیپر انفلیشن) کے چنگل میں پھنسے گا۔

پی ڈی ایم رہنماؤں کے اربوں ڈالرز بیرونِ ملک تجوریوں میں محفوظ ہیں چنانچہ یہ قابلِ فہم ہے کہ (کیوں) انہیں (معیشت کی تباہی کی) رتّی بھر فکر نہیں۔ سوال یہ پیدا ہوتا ہے پاکستانی مقتدرہ (اسٹیبلشمنٹ) ملک کو مکمل معاشی تباہی و بدحالی کی دلدل میں گرنے کی اجازت کیسے دے رہی ہے؟
