Happy 56th birthday to New Jersey's Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) program, which helps some 4,000 students @NJCommColleges every year with critical supports to help them succeed!
56 years ago on July 12, the bill creating the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) was signed into law.
Since then, New Jersey's legacy wraparound program has grown to help generations of students realize opportunity through higher education.

Thank you, @AswAndreaKatz for your support of @NJCommColleges in the FY 2025 state budget! We know you understand the essential role community colleges play in New Jersey higher education!
Funding our community colleges is essential for supporting our students and their futures. Making education affordable and accessible should be a priority, as it is historically the greatest vehicle for social mobility and opens so many doors for New Jersey students.
@NJCommColleges was thrilled to see Korey Hagamin of @camdencc among the interns! He provided eloquent testimony at the budget hearings back in March in support of all community college students. Congrats, Korey!
Great to join the New Jersey Legislative Black Caucus today and meet their terrific class of interns. They’re going to learn a lot from these Assembly members and we’ll all benefit from their contributions.

Our employer-led, federally-funded public workforce system fails to put people into good jobs. And that's by design. This piece by @kevincarey1 breaks down what's wrong w/ WIOA & what needs to change. @NewAmericaEd#wkdev@newamerica https://t.co/opgqJXf17k
“Even if the Legislature restores the proposed $20M cut in the Governor’s budget -- and we absolutely should – New Jersey has repeatedly underfunded our community colleges,” Zwicker said. “What makes no sense to me is that study after study has found that the money we invest 1/3
