Last week's freestyle spotlight had to be delayed because we were filming more freestyle artists, so this week's spotlight is @willievalentin1!

Willie started off as part of a Latin Freestyle group called All-In, where he co-wrote and produced the group's songs.

This week's freestyle spotlight is Lily Rose! Much like @singerlilsuzy, she started her career at the age of 8 when she released her first song titled "I Can Be The One" in 2016. As the popularity of her first single grew, she recorded her first music video.

She also opened for her parents @WillieValentin1 and Synthia Figueroa at one of their shows, where she was coined "the future of Freestyle."⁣

In 2019, Lily Rose released her 2nd single "Magical". The song received a lot of radio play and reached the #1 spot on 90.7FM.

Lily has performed at many concerts opening for classic freestyle artists such as @gosoave, @dreamgirlfans, @judytorresmusic, and more. She is currently recording her newest single "Without Your Love," continuing the legacy of her parents while also helping keep freestyle alive.

Today we honor freestyle family matriarch Synthia Figueroa, who is the wife of @WillieValentin1 and mom to Lily Rose. Synthia's first 2 freestyle singles "You Were Meant for Me" and "Touch Me" received major radio support on the west coast in the late 90's.

She was featured on the weekend Freestyle radio show "Freestyle Free For All" with @JudyTorresMusic. The album went on to be one of the most successful albums released on the Artistik Records Label and cemented Synthia Figueroa as a freestyle diva!

This week’s spotlight is Lewis Martineé! Martineé is known for being one of the groundbreaking producers/songwriters/DJs who were nascent to freestyle music. He formed the groups Exposé and Sequal, worked with the Covergirls, and was Billboard’s Songwriter of the Year in 1987.
