Exactly the " it doesn't interpret like that it's a man's point of view " thing women use to justify laws and rulings against them so that they can hold on to the faith is sooooo....
it’s textbook coercion. the way you’re asking doesn’t even sound like a question. you know damn well. you’re just begging for there to be a justification so you can hold onto your faith. just leave and save yourself months or years of cognitive dissonance
@agent_maverick_ So what that it's abolished now ? Why wasn't it was made haram at that particular point where literally so many less harmful things were made haram ?
Your relationship with yourself cannot be built entirely around improvement. At some point, you have to become someone you are allowed to enjoy being. You get to be proud of who you are. Present tense.
one of the biggest signs your self concept is evolving is that you stop taking everything personally. someone else’s mood doesn’t automatically become your responsibility, a delayed response doesn’t instantly become proof you’re unwanted. you stop treating life like it’s happening against you. your mind isn’t constantly trying to make every event mean something about your worth.
Confidence doesn't come from believing in yourself. It comes from having done the uncomfortable thing enough times that your nervous system stops flagging it as an emergency. Because nothing is actually hard, it's just unfamiliar.
Every time you avoid something uncomfortable, your brain reinforces the idea that avoidance works. It literally strengthens the pathways that make hesitation, procrastination, or excuses automatic. And every time you do the hard thing even imperfectly your brain is building a new pathway: this is something I can do.
Desis need to start socially ostracising men who hit their wives.
It is a sign of utmost beghayrti to allow a known wife-beater to enter your house, enjoy your friendship or eat from your table.
Don’t be a beghayrat.
