and if love ever finds me again, i hope it's with someone who thinks about how their actions affect me,someone who considers my feelings before making choices and values my peace as much as their own because I'm not here to survive love again, I'm here to finally live it
normalize saying “unfortunately you’re no longer a safe person for me and I refuse to continually sacrifice my nervous system to make you feel comfortable”
If you lose interest in someone, just say it. Cold texts, empty hugs, unanswered calls, avoiding their messages, distant conversations, and pretending everything is fine… that silent treatment hurts way more than the truth.
I won't end this year pretending everything was fine. I lost a piece of myself this year that I will never get back, and I'm not forcing a smile as if it didn't change me. So no, I won't be saying “2026 is going to be my year”. I'll be praying that I recover next year, that my heart never has to break like this again, that I never have to survive something like this again. I'll be hoping for peace. Real peace, the kind that lets me breathe without fighting for it. I deserve a year that doesn't hurt.
i immediately go silent when something upsets or hurts me. it's a coping mechanism i have developed over time. instead of expressing my anger or frustration, i simply withdraw and try to process my emotions in private.
I used to think communication was a key until i realized comprehension is. You can communicate all you want with someone but if they don’t understand you or refuse to understand, communication is useless.
Once I’ve addressed the situation multiple times and there’s no changed behaviour, I stop caring. It’s above me now. People treat you exactly how they feel about you. You heard me and saw how it affected me the first time. At some point in life, you have to know your worth.
Hardest pill to swallow is realizing people do not care. They’ll hurt you & really go on about their lives. Not even slightly affected about what they did to you & how you feel. Regardless if it’s friendships, relationships, or family.
I love deep conversations. I’m not nonchalant. I love love. I love laughing hard and good memories.
I love people who are kind for no reason. I love consideration. I love empathy. I don’t like not knowing where I stand with people. I love people who care about the little things.
Marry a man with a provider mindset. Not necessarily a rich man, but one who is responsible and knows how to lead. Because he will always make sure your needs are met and will go the extra mile for you. A man who is emotionally mature is worth more than a wealthy man who doesn’t value you.
